Aspiring call center agents (or should I refer to them to a more politically-correct term? Customer Service Representatives? What’s the right term? And, in my opinion, “call center agent” is in no way a politically incorrect term) have to deal with foreign clients most of the time. Talented Filipinos with more flexible tongues (ooohh… sexay!!!) often get hired quickly because they can easily adapt and acquire the American twang easily. But there are a few who just can’t get the speech defect out of their system quick enough — the all too familiar F and P, B and V problems.
