22 02 2010

With the growing number of movies being released on 3D high-definition (and a there are a lot coming up). With this technology becoming a trend in the movie industry, you can’t help but wonder what if you can watch 3D movies in your very own living room.

So with this,  Sony launched their 3D ready Blu-Ray Player.

The Sony BDP-S470

The player features Full HD 1080p output and supports playback of Blu-ray Disc, DVD, CD and even SACD discs. The Sony BDP-S470 supports DVD upscaling to 1080p with Precision Cinema HD Upscaling and Dolby TrueHD and dts-HD Master Audio decoding. It is capable of BD-Live and includes access to the BRAVIA Internet Video platform for online internet streaming.

The player is also Wi-fi and LAN ready so you can stream movies, videos, music, and more from Netflix, Amazon Video On-Demand, Youtube Slacker Internet Radio, Pandora coming Spring 2010, NPR, Sony Pictures and Sony Music making up over 25 total providers through the Sony BRAVIA Internet video platform. (in the US at least)

I guess it would be great to watch your favorite 3D movies at the comfort of your own home.
